Our company undertook and successfully executed the project of blasting and painting of an 80m-diameter and 18m-high oil tank, with a total surface of 4.521 m2.
The blasting technique used was the one of Ultra High Pressure Water Jetting (2500 Bar), as well as the pioneering chariot robotics ENVIROBOT.
This technique is based on the ultra-high water pressure to remove the surface paint and allows for the water to be collected along with the rust and the paint by means of vacuum in a special container where follows the separation of the water from other substances, thus, achieving the protection of the environment.
